The training programme consists of two distinct courses designed to equip both trainers and learners with essential skills and knowledge in circular waste management and the circular economy.
Both programmes are designed to foster a comprehensive understanding of circular economy practices, empowering participants to contribute effectively to sustainable and innovative waste management solutions.
The trainer-the-trainer programme consists of a 100-hour online learning course in English and Portuguese with self-paced modules and practical assignments. The project has now trained 47 certified green waste management and circular economy trainers in Ghana, Angola and São Tomé, and they are currently working towards passing this knowledge to students in TVET schools.Â
